Terms of Service
1. What Find Your Frame is
Find Your Frame lets photographers deliver photos to their clients in an online gallery. Photographers can bring photos in from their own Google Drive or upload them, choose who can view and download them, and share a link. Some features are in beta and may change, pause or be removed as we improve the service.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
- Keep your password and sign-in links private. You are responsible for activity in your account.
- Give us accurate information and keep your email address up to date.
- During the beta, accounts are by invitation and we may decline or end an invitation.
3. Your photos and content
You keep all ownership of your photos, captions, stories and other content. You give us a limited licence to store, copy, resize, display and deliver that content only to run Find Your Frame for you (for example, to make preview images, show your gallery to the people you share it with, and prepare downloads).
When you upload, import or publish content, you promise that:
- you own it or have the rights to use and share it;
- you have the consent you need from the people in it — including model releases and a parent or guardian’s consent for anyone under 18; and
- it is not illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or an invasion of anyone’s privacy.
We may remove content or suspend a gallery that breaks these rules or that we are legally required to remove.
5. Google Drive
If you connect Google Drive, we only read the folders you choose. Your original files stay in your Drive. We make smaller preview copies to show your gallery quickly, and we fetch an original from your Drive only when someone downloads it. If you delete files from your Drive or disconnect it, downloads of those originals will stop working. You are responsible for keeping your own backups.
6. Free galleries and expiry
On the free plan, a gallery is open for 14 days after it goes live. After that it “rests” for 30 days: the photos are hidden but the gallery can be brought back by keeping it. When the resting period ends, our preview copies are deleted and the gallery is no longer available. Originals in the photographer’s Google Drive are not touched. Download the photos you want to keep while the gallery is open.
7. Plans, payments and refunds
- Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment provider.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- “Keep this gallery” purchases keep one gallery available. “Keep for 30 days” is a one-time payment. “Keep for a year” renews every year until you cancel it; if you cancel, the gallery stays kept until the end of the year you paid for.
- All payments are final and non-refundable, including partial periods and unused time, except where a refund is required by law or we decide to give one.
- Prices may change; we will tell subscribers before a new price applies to them.
- Prices are in Canadian dollars unless shown otherwise, and taxes may apply.
8. Prints and extra photo sales
Print ordering and buying extra photos are coming soon. When they launch, prints will be produced and shipped by a third-party lab, and additional terms shown at checkout will apply.
9. Captions and writing suggestions
Find Your Frame can suggest captions, short lines, place notes and links using automated tools. Suggestions can be wrong or unsuitable. Nothing is published until you accept it, and you are responsible for what you publish in your gallery.
10. Messages and chat
When you send us a message through the chat on our site, we use your name, email, phone number and message to reply to you. If you agree to receive texts or emails, we may contact you about your question and about Find Your Frame. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text or use the unsubscribe link in any email to opt out.
11. Things you agree not to do
- Use the service to break the law or someone else’s rights.
- Try to get into galleries or accounts you were not given access to.
- Copy, scrape or resell the service, or interfere with how it runs.
- Upload malware or use the service to send spam.
12. Ending your account
You can stop using Find Your Frame and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. When an account is closed, its galleries stop working and our preview copies are deleted.
13. The service is provided “as is”
We work hard to keep Find Your Frame reliable, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”, without promises that it will always be online, error-free or that content will never be lost. Always keep your own copies of your photos.
14. Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost photos, data, profits or business. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 CAD if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
15. Your responsibility to us
If someone makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded or shared, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell account holders by email or in the app before it takes effect, and we may ask you to agree again. The date at the top shows the latest version.
17. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes will be handled in the courts of British Columbia. Questions? Email findframe@findyou.media (or platfrm.ca@gmail.com).
